There is an old African proverb, "it takes a village to raise a child." We are that village. Comprised of some of the most powerful women in Washington D.C., the High Tea Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization created to provide educational and cultural enrichment activities for inner-city girls who attend the District of Columbia Public Schools. Using a combination of technology, tradition and innovation, we are reclaiming and redefining gentility for a modern age.
