Who We Serve

The High Tea Society works directly with principals and counselors in the DC Public Schools to identify girls, aged 8-18, who are teetering and can benefit from an educational program

How We Serve

Currently, HTS interacts with  participants through various activities and weekly classes over the course of the academic year.  When we're not able to meet physically, HTS aspires to connect virtually.

What We Believe

We want young women to "be just as comfortable in the White House as they are in their house."
To that end, we go where our girls are: their schools, their homes, their laptops and smartphones. 

The High Tea Society network of Board Members, mentors, volunteers and supporters is comprised of some of the most powerful women in Washington D.C.  In 2019, we recruited young women leaders in the fields of marketing, branding and technology to help us explore ways to expand our program in a manner that will continue to resonate with young girls.  Their dedication and creativity has enabled us to charter a new innovative course for HTS!
